Trueleaf Finance, a small-business funding service in Saginaw, Michigan, sets out its disclosures here: how a request is passed to funding partners and who reviews and decides on it; why merchant cash advances are not loans; why no approval, rate or timing is promised; and which named Census programs supply the public data on this site.
What Trueleaf Finance Is
Trueleaf Finance is a broker, not a lender. Trueleaf Finance connects you with lending partners; partners make credit decisions and set rates and terms. Trueleaf Finance does not lend money, make credit decisions or service loans.
No Promises of Approval, Rates or Timing
No request is assured of approval. Rates, amounts, terms and timing are set by each partner after its own review and differ between partners and requests. No page here makes an offer of credit.
Merchant Cash Advances
A merchant cash advance is not a loan. It is a purchase of a share of future receipts, collected as a percentage of sales or a set debit. Its cost is expressed as a factor rate, not an interest rate.
Where Trueleaf's Numbers Come From
Every local number on these pages traces to a U.S. Census Bureau program (County Business Patterns, ZIP Business Patterns, Nonemployer Statistics, the American Community Survey and the Building Permits Survey), with the program and year beside each figure. Examples with dollar amounts are illustrations, not offers, and are labeled as such. The calculator shows arithmetic on numbers you enter.
Products Not Offered
Trueleaf Finance does not arrange SBA loans, personal or payday loans, auto title loans or mortgages, does not offer grants and does not arrange agriculture or trucking funding.
