Trueleaf Finance, a small-business funding service in Saginaw, Michigan, provides this loan payment calculator for dental and medical practice owners in Saginaw County. Enter an amount, annual rate and term to see the monthly payment, total interest and total amount repaid. It does not quote rates or predict approval; partners set those after their own review.
What the Calculator Shows
- Monthly payment for a fully amortizing loan at the rate and term you enter
- Total interest, summed over all the months
- Total repaid: what you borrowed plus all the interest
It does not include fees, down payments, balloon payments, variable rates or the cost of any equipment lease. Add those by hand from an actual offer.
Made-Up Numbers, Worked Through
Illustrative figures only, not an offer, and not typical terms. A practice owner enters $50,000, an annual rate of 10 and a term of 60 months. The calculator returns the monthly payment, the total interest over five years and the total repaid. Changing the term to 84 months lowers the payment and raises the total interest; that trade-off is what the tool is for.
Using It for a Dental Expansion
Run the calculator on each piece of a project: the build-out, the chair and delivery unit, the imaging. Then compare the combined payment with the extra monthly production you expect. Our post on funding a dental office expansion in Saginaw, MI walks through that comparison, and medical and dental practice funding covers what partners read.
Business Loan Amortization in Plain Terms
Each payment covers that month's interest plus some principal. Interest dominates the early months and principal the late ones. The calculator's total interest figure is the sum of all those interest portions. A partner's offer should include its own amortization schedule; compare it with your estimate. More on how fixed-payment loans work is on the term loan page.
